Jytte Strøm’s ceramics are characterised by simple shapes with special focus on

the decorative aspect. The gallery showcases her popular, one of a kind sinks for

the bathroom. There are also Strøm’s dishes, cups, bowls and vases – perfect as

gifts, for the table, or simply for decorating the home. Jytte Strøm was educated

at Copenhagen’s ”School of Decorative Art” (now ”The Danish Design School”).

Since the 1990s, she has created and exhibited her ceramics and carried out

commissions for companies, private individuals, associations and municipalities.

 

Jytte Strøm’s gallery and workshop are located in beautiful natural surroundings

just 60 km north of Copenhagen in Northern Zealand, close to the Torup organic

village and 5 km from Hundested (see “find vej” (=”how to get here”) on the

menu for the map and directions). The gallery can be visited all year round.
